About the sites

We have owned two parcels of land north of Saunders Lane near Mayford for a number of years. One of these is to the north-east, and one to the north-west, of Saunders Lane. Both are poor quality agricultural land.

Mayford Village Hall and an area of publicly owned open land lie between our two sites. The Village Hall and the publicly owned open land will not be affected by our proposals.

A sustainable location

Both sites are in sustainable locations within walking and cycling distance of local facilities and services, primary and secondary schools.

These include Worplesdon Railway Station, Freemantles School, Hoe Valley School and Sixth Form, Mayford Post Office, and Mayford centre and Mayford Green. Woking town centre is around three miles from the sites.

Separate planning applications are being submitted for each site.
